We are open Easter Saturday but closed Fri, Sun/Mon.As autumn is the time to think of home comforts it is a good time to knit, crochet, sew and generally make the 'house a home'. To this end we are running Sort Furnishings/ cushions. on a Saturday. Also we are running Intro to Patchwork/quilting. I always say I am not a patch on a quilter but I appreciate a good quilt. They are the most functional throw, make a bedroom look beautiful and they seem to be self cleaning! Never say never. Everyone should do one quilt in their lives and here is a great chance to learn from a fabulous quilter. See attachment.
We are running school student's morning course in the holidays. Week 2 is full but week 1 , 11,12 and13th still has vacancies for 10-14 yr olds who have some sewing experience. 9-12, email if interested $165.
If there are any school students wanting to have a small group learn to knit/crochet please email with suggested times etc.
I have made a mistake re trousers. At this stage it should be Thursday evening and Sat afternoon. Please email
See we have bow ties running...male and female all welcome.
Skirts will not run Fri night instead we will revert to Half-made-never-finished for an extra few weeks till enough to make a viable class.
Frocks looks as if it will not get up; I was swamped with lots of interest and it has not translated into a viable class.
Move Over Peter Alexander- All of those who have done our Intro courses in the last few months this is a great follow on. It teaches you to read commercial patterns, sew stretch , tricks of laying and cutting etc.
Don't forget thatif you eant specific times for a class the best thing to do is get a few friends and that is a start for us.
Keep looking at the website.
Happy Easter
Sarah
